ChannelWrite is a powerful feature that allows you to store and access a history of activity on your BrightContext channels.
On the BrightContext dashboard, you can enable ChannelWrite for individual channels. In your QuantChannels, you can use ChannelWrite to store the history of outputs or aggregates. For ThruChannels, ChannelWrite stores a history of all the messages entering your channel.
ChannelWrite adds depth and utility to your apps without any extra effort on your part. For example, if you created a massive collaboration application that people were connecting to over time, you could use ChannelWrite to show newcomers all drawings, messages and activity that occurred before they joined.
Likewise, if you configured a QuantChannel to calculate real time aggregate metrics, turning on ChannelWrite will create a time series history of each of your metrics enabling analysis of metrics over time.
ChannelWrite eliminates the need to do any of the complex configuration and infrastructure development required to store detailed records of your data channels’ activity. Basic ChannelWrite capacity is included in all accounts.
